DESCRIPTION
Do a walking tour of the courtyard site with a template that guides observations.
With the Pentagon Method, enable participants to grasp the qualities of space without needing a technical language. The method helps structure the walking tour.
It breaks down the space in two lists of : a list of
/ emotions and a list of material elements in the built environment.
OUTCOME
Generate design propositions that are more alligned with their
Help participants understand the courtyard space (what they like & dislike about it).
CAUTION ︎
The parameters written on the given template will influence the observations and the design that is proposed. It is important that they are as generic as possible, to let the participants interpret the space in a subjective manner.
